What did she even see in Hachiman? She wasn't as autistic as him and Yukino

What did she even see in Hachiman? She wasn't as autistic as him and Yukino.

He was nice to her.

He saved her dog.

His long fingers.

>What did she even see in Hachiman?
he's the protag. Next question

The dude dove in front of a car to save her dog.

Yui's a pushover who's hypersensitive to the opinions of others. Hachiman gives off the appearance of not giving a shit about what other people think of him. She admired that.

>Tries to use her unconditional power of love and friendship to save Hachiman and Yukino from their loner selves, despite how they're too proud to fit in with everyone.
>Turns into a dumbass as soon as she confirms that Hachiman was the one who saved her dog some weeks ago, and suffers miserably like a tragic heroine after stringing herself along into a love triangle with him and Yukino.
What's up with this sort of character regression?

Women are like that

basically
>I can fix him

I was a Yukino guy myself but it hurt seeing this character lose. She deserved to win in some way.
Yukino just happened to be pure sex and irresistibly cute but I concede that Yui had the better personality.

She said it herself in volume 12. Hachiman is her "hero" who saved her dog. Yui isn't attracted to his looks, personality, ideals or his weird sense of humor. She's attracted to the part of him which is honestly his worst aspect, reminds me of Nino being attracted to Fuuts for being punk with dyed blond hair in his youth.

Iroha likes him because he's reliable and a perfect slave for paperwork.

Yukino likes him because she shares many things in common with him. How he's like her father. How he looks like Pan-san. The person that knows the most of how Hachiman is beside himself.

>saved her dog some weeks ago
Wasn't that on their 1st year?

His huge dong.

This series was actually incredibly simple.

He was a hero. No many people would jump in font of a car to save a dog.

I'll be honest. I never cared much for Yukino and liked Yui way way more. However, I still wanted Yui to lose. At some point in the series I figured out that ending up with 8man would not ever be the happy ending she thinks, and honestly 8man wasn't a prize.

It's sadly true that if you want a stable long-term relationship, pick someone who you know each other very well, so you'd know what to expect from the partner. "Opposites attract", that much is true, but the resulting relationship would usually be fragile too. Usually though, thr MC in this kind of story would also chase after his dream girl first, then fail, then settle down with a woman he's comfortable with all the time, all that. The usual overuse of Oedipus complex tropes.

WOE IS ME I'M SO PRETTY

I can't believe she won looking like that

>What did she even see in Hachiman
A chance to be special. She was tired of living in the shadow of other girls like Miura and thought that going out with somebody autistic like 8man would make her more interesting than the average roastie that chases chads.
