So, I read the spoilers

So, I read the spoilers.

LNbros is the whole harem aspect as contrived, cringe and shit as I suspect or are there any redeeming qualities to this story past what we've seen in the anime?

the Harem relationship in MT is pretty normal all thing considering and it happens in the middle of the story instead of then end so it has that going for it also, not even cringe they all act like a married couple/family.

by it happening I mean he actually marries all three main love interest before the end of the story unlike other series, not only that they aren't reduced to background characters either and still have major focus on the plot, sometimes its Eris and Sylphy as sidekicks on an adventure and other times it's Sylphy and Roxy. Also it's implied that Roxy goes down on Sylphy during their threesome which is pretty hot.

It's better than most harem shit, but it's still harem shit.

>Pedophile takes on a child form in order to groom real children
Call me a leftoid tranny or whatever but this series is fucking disgusting

>real children
Umm it's fiction, babe.

>Also it's implied that Roxy goes down on Sylphy during their threesome which is pretty hot.

It's shit like this that makes me think this story turns maxed contrived after the end of S2/Vol. 6. I get that Rudeus is a perv but why do all the girls turn into open relationship bisexual sex monsters?

>I get that Rudeus is a perv but why do all the girls turn into open relationship bisexual sex monsters?
It's because they get all there sexual education and tips from the Sluttiest elf in the entire 6 sided world.Who also happens to be Sylphy's grandmother

stuff does be like that when a good chunk of the cast few like a fetish/hentai tags checklist

It takes quite a bit longer than that for the haremshit to start, user.

I mean it's not like they're having threesome every chapter it happens maybe 2 or 3 times in the entire story and it's not detailed either it's just implied in like three of four sentences.

It takes a LONG time for even the smallest Harem -tier happenings to occur, and even then it's more of a FAMILY rather than your average harem animu shit where there's a will there/wont they/- no. They have sex, there's kids, there's one man having three wives, they manage the carefully and well. That's...pretty much it.

I meant that after that the story loses focus. I think there was a pretty well handled relationship arc with Eris, just to abandon that plotline so Rudeus can go have wacky school adventures and fight erectile disfunction. That point really is the beginning of the end.

The fact alone that he convinces all three girls to be fine with being Latter-Day-Saints and fuck each other is the problem, even if it only happened once.

School arc is fun

>The fact alone that he convinces all three girls to be fine with being Latter-Day-Saints and fuck each other is the problem
why?

If you can convince a girl to let you fuck her in the ass you can convince her to eat a pussy or two.

>School arc is fun
Probably yes, but it's a bad direction in the broader story in the way it was executed.

>why?
The whole theme of the books is a guy becoming a better human being in another life the fact that the story didn't manage to stick to that but moves on to have him two time or three time these girls and actually getting away with it in the most contrived wish fulfillment way is a problem. It goes against the fundamentals of the story.

Ah. Yeah, I can agree with that. School Arc IS fun, the cast is great except for Sylphy herself, but the sudden change in direction and heroine never stops feeling bad. And not in a good way either.

>The whole theme of the books is a guy becoming a better human being in another life
I'm mixed. On one hand, I'll not that while it's true it's about him become a better person, it's not about him becoming a GOOD person. Not really. Rudy at least still has lots of flaws. That's a much more consistent theme of the series, bad/flawed people trying to live a good life.
On the OTHER hand...yes, you're right, it going the harem route sucks shit for more or less the exact reasons you're giving.

>moves on to have him two time or three time these girls and actually getting away with it

idk sounds based to me. Having multiple wives doesn't stop him from becoming a better person, and in the end he's 10x the person in this life that he was in his previous life.

>muh morals
its a world where having multiple wives is fine, who gives a fuck? It's not like he abuses them or makes them fuck eachother, they have 1 threesome once in the entire story
and really sylphy is the only one that got fucked over by anything, by rudy saying she was the only one he needed but then coming home with another wife anyway like father like son

>idk sounds based to me.
it is based if all you wanted out of the story was him fucking the girls and be alpha chad and you don't actually care about realistic character development. Him cheating is unequivocally portrayed as something bad; he feels bad about it but then the story moves on to accommodate his behaviors, which imo goes against the point of the story.

he only feels bad about it because of how he thought it made sylphy feel, based on his preconceived notions of relationships from his time on earth. As sylphy, eris, and roxy have pointed out multiple times, they dont even believe in the millis religion, why would they care about being monogomous? Why do you not understand that the world he lives in isn't the world he's from?

The harem aspects are handled alright that I could tolerate them if the circumstances surrounding them weren't so shitty. But they are, so I can't.

I do understand that but my point is that the story/world/lore accommodating his shitty behaviour is a contrived way of writing a story so you can force a shitty harem into it. Him having to actually confront his feelings and make a decision on a moral spectrum that isn't lifted from a fetish hentai would have been better.

>which imo goes against the point of the story.
Huh? the whole story is about flawed people making mistakes and learning to be better than they were before. How exactly does that conflict?

By having a character do a shitty thing and then the story going "lol don't care, in this world your specific shitty way of doing things is fine, don't bother changing", skipping past the actual interesting implications.

If the story is about him bettering himself as a person, then having the setting redefine what that means so that he doesn't have to actually change is a huge copout.

oh yeah i forgot that on earth he was a playboy with a woman on each arm

He obviously changed tho, in the previous world he wouldn't have been able to get a crumb of pussy and now he has three. He never wanted to be a good guy, he wanted to be a better guy than his previous self so now he

>Cares about his family
>Is able to talk to people
>has a job
>Is able to mourn his parent/s
>is willing to listen and help people through their problems(Ruijerd) instead of just laughing and walking away

This, guy thinks he was swimming and pussy and cheated on his waifu body pillow in his previous life while jacking off to loli porn and toilet cams. He was nothing more than a reclusive bum and now he's not. JOBLESS REINCARNATION

Having a harem would be nice in theory but to sum up how it would be in reality I'll quote what my mom told me while watching Joe exotic.
"You're gonna need to give each bitch their own house because every bitch wants to be the top one."
It really did help me realize that my harem dream won't work unless I move to Saudi Arabia.

You are missing my point. Yes, he became a generally better person, even a generally good person but there is an aspect of his character that remains shitty and goes not only unaddressed but encouraged by the story.

having multiple partners isnt inherently a shitty thing, you only think it is because you're a christnigger

What are you even trying to say?

Him changing in other ways for the better does not disqualify this particular complaint.

this is why his harem works, everyone in the house respects sylphy as Head Bitch In Charge

Being horny is a neutral trait.

I'm saying that as a response to someone saying that him having multiple wives was a shitty character trait that he didnt have to address. This isn't true: in his original life he was a NEET retard that literally didnt talk to anyone for like 15 years. I was being sarcastic and calling the other user retarded

His complaint is non-issue.
>The girls love him
>there non monogamous
>he marries them
>they go on adventures
simple as, worst thing he did was break a promise Sylphy never thought he was gonna keep anyways.

I'm not religious and it's also fine if you're somehow in favor of polygamy as a personal opinion but it remains something that most modern societies view as something bad or unhealthy and I do so aswell.

Regardless of that, I don't even think the story tries to address that point, that polygamy is good, it just handwaves the issue because Rudeus isn't supposed to make a decision but gets them all.

>i think its bad so its bad!!
shut up faggot

either gay or a woman.
