I don't know why someone would think it was meant to censor the deaths. They mutilate Gilgamesh right after and the movie literally has masturbation and sex.

Yeah. As a Heaven's Feel fan there are a lot of things i didn't like about the adaptation and this scene might be one of the biggest. Like, i get it, she's having a fun, cutesy dream to mask that she's fucking murdering and eating people. I get that. But it's so trite you know? It's such an overplayed trope, the "cute thing juxtaposed with horrific reality". It legitimately made me roll my eyes when i first saw it.
