Underrated masterpiece of clusterfucks.
The reaction to it was always pretty dumb. It's not that bad.
Nah it's one of my favorites. I love Nishimura's work in general and I can tell this was a really personal story for him.

I find it hard to believe considering the state of Any Forums that that they're still Any Forumsnos here who watched this show as is aired.
>it's already been 8 years
What are you talking about? Glasslip wasn't that long ago-
>aired in 2014
Fuck.
Sell me this series Any Forums I need something shit to watch
There's not really much to sell. It's a weird show that doesn't really go anywhere but has a nice small town summery atmosphere.
It was -okay-, I've seen shittier PA Works show. You know, Red Data Girl.
If there are anons who watched True Tears still around, this is a piece of cake.
Sell what? It's shit. Don't waste your time on it unless you have a completion streak and have to watch every single PA work.
I can't for the life of me remember a single thing about RDG. Only that I somehow completed it.
The series is basically about social circles and viewing them from the outside looking in. Touko finding a way to connect with someone who cannot connect. Yet it's through those connections you come to realize this sort of true nature to how someone is. Like Kakeru comes to realize that his aloof, almost loner way of doing things, much like how his parents are, kinda suits him.
Joinus's blog posts in Japanese on the series I think sum the themes and motifs quite well.

Braids & glasses.
It got saori hayami
It's such a fucking retarded show.
