99% of adventurers are the absolute riff-raff of isekai society. imagine having to deal with these subhumans day in day out to make a living. guild girl is not wrong to think like this.

>Who's wrong here?
The guild girl obviously. Those adventurers should correct her behaviors.

Guild is nothing more than a middle man.

They are only allowed to complain if the workers gave loots that are below the standard of what the requester asks.
In fact, workers can just move to another guild that pays better

The adventurers for working for a stupid guild. Literally why the fuck would they give their pay when they're fucking adventurers?

Did mercenaries have guilds? Fuck no. Go work for some noble instead of some stupid bourgeois bureaucrat that pays you like garbage and probably uses your efforts to erode the power of the king

How dares she? Doesn't she know that adventurers are the ones indirectly paying her wage?

>mercenaries have guilds
Yes they do. They are called
Man at Arms (civilians ready to fight),
Freelancers (knights without lords),
Rounins (samurai without daimyo)

They are regularly hired for supplementary force are often given the front lines because they loyalty are questionable. But they are also the highest paid because frontliners.

Longswordsmen are paid massively for every spear they break.
The highest pay goes to anyone who can carry a boulder away from a collapsed castle wall during a seige. They are paid the weight of the boulder in silver because shit is indescribably dangerous.
If a wall breaks, every defender in a castle would flood to defend or even repair it

Not a single one of these are guilds, you stupid fuck. Do you even know what a fucking guild is? Guilds are organizations made to regulate the quality and price of a good. They're essentially an official monopoly - more often than not, they were also basically the equivalent of health regulations at a time where such concepts didn't exist. For example, the Baker's Guild in london regulated all bakers so they wouldn't do stuff like putting literal fucking sand in the flour.

>Men-at-arms
Term used for soldier during the middle ages, typically professional, and typically experienced in cavalry
>Freelancer
Literally just an broad term for anyone who takes an job without real commitment or permanent position
>Ronin
Again, literally just a term for samurai who did not have an lord.

Not a SINGLE one of these have guilds. There were no 'mercenary' guild because you can't regulate the quality of fucking warfare - the closest thing being when monarchs or nobles would give a company or school the right to monopolize the learning of certain manners of warfare, and even then, they were rarely able to enforce such a monopoly, like when the Holy Roman Emperor granted an monopoly of the Zweihander.

Adventurer guilds will not, EVER, make sense

Don't piss off Big Guild

Adventurers are those who protect society from monsters.

There is only one guild in isekai.

>literally just mercenary companies hired by private employers and given the freedom to do whatever the fuck they want
this is not a guild in even the slightest sense of the word you retarded faggot

Adventurers are literally day job freeters. Parasites who couldn't cut it in dedicated trades like being a soldier or knight.

Freedom to adventurers, they need to rise up against the guild's tyranny. They will lose nothing but their chains.

They cannot cut it there because they refuse serving the king. Not the lack of skill

>In fact, workers can just move to another guild that pays better
That, uh, is literally the opposite of what a guild is. A guild is, by definition, a legal monopoly granted by the state to a specific organization.

Not true
There were multiple guilds for similar trades designed to protect trade secrets due to the lack of laws against plagiarism and industrial espoinage.

That's why most adventurers make enough to live guild quest to guild quest and spend most of their rewards getting plastered at the attached guild bar.

ITS OKAY TO INCITE REBELLION IN ISEKAI!!!

And guess what?
It isn't a dead end end job.
Hardwork and good performance actually gets rewarded with higher rank

How do you climb up the army ranks?
By kissing boots, that's how

Is she a heroine or just a one-off side character?

Imagine thinking you can have a profession without a guild in [CURRENT YEAR IN JULIAN CALENDAR]

It is a dead end job because higher ranks only allow you to access higher difficulty adventurer jobs. You're still an adventurer. It doesn't open pathways to be an officer, commander, administrator etc.

>soldier or knight.
They are the king's hechmen, who won't protect people from monsters and demons in times of need.

You cannot have a guild for a job which cannot be regulated.

I mean, what the fuck are they going to do? Demand you to not use vorpal swords because they damage the monster's corpses too much?

adventurers are mercenaries. even worse than mercenaries since they are usually solo or small parties as best, while actual mercenary groups are companies that run small organized armies (with proper organizational chain of command).
