Physical power can't save the ruled nation from collapsing from the sheer incompetence of the MC.
That's presuming the MC is the only demi-god in existence. In the long-term this behaviour could cause all the other demi-gods to unite against him even if he is stronger than any single one of them, he might not be able to beat them all on his own if they united against him.
The Wild Last Boss showed what happens in such a scenario. Luphas completely estranged her nation and she had to "learn" the perspective of a "normal person" to prevent herself from failing to unite a force to oppose the goddess. Just power wasn't enough, unless she wanted to the only one left alive in the end at best.
