You guys are my kind of people. There's a part of me that loves his conclusion. His line to Genkai after he took off his glasses lives rent free in my head. But there's a part of me that wishes, after Spirit World cut ties with him, Yusuke would have broke into Limbo and dragged Toguro with him to Demon World because he needed some expendable backup (or Toguro breaking out of limbo to provide backup). If solely so we could have gotten a conversation with Hokushin or the monks about the stretchy neck & how his brother used to do the same to creep women out.

I feel like this should be one of those series that people have to rewatch whenever they're reminded of it.
It would've been cool, but I can't see any way Yusuke would be cool working with him again.
Also I'm not an artist but for a laugh I made this Toguro desktop image. Definitely something I thought would be funnier than it actually ended up being.

okay I think I just overthought it this is pretty funny to me.
The last arc's only problem is it's just way too abrupt. It has some good fights and characters, but nothing really got enough time to cook. Pretty sad. Sensui arc's good though.

I'll get there one day, I stopped watching it around the end of the tourney as a kid, did two rewatches since and did the same, fourth time's the charm.

By fixes what do you mean? Skipping most of the first arc? The filler that floods the adaptation with it's one piece pacing where pretty much 10 min or more of every episodes is spent in stares, people running, repeating attacks, shitty original scenes explaining the obvious or characters reacting and commenting what's going on? Skipping the entire epilogue and jumping straight to the final episode with even parts of it missing?
YYH manga is garbage, but the anime is at another level of bad and didn't fix shit.
