The shows you're referring to are a genre, but that genre isn't isekai. I call it isekai trash.

Its a plot device that somehow got turned into a genre.
There are plenty of other similar cases, such as "crew of a spaceship goes on adventures" having many different series, but there are so damn many isekai its insane.

There's a big difference between isekai trash and isekai non-trash
