>humans were the true parasytes all along
lmao, can't believe this is how they end the story
That aside, this is a great anime. Why isn't it more popular?

that forced environmental message at the end really brought a decent 8/10 show down to a 6/10

its pretty popular. what are you talking about
I never see it being recommended or talked anywhere
humans indeed bad
That's not the message, though. It's so fucking based how this show filters retards like you.
Yeah the story was kind of meh from the start but the action sequences and music were good. It's that kind of anime that you watch when you need to just chill.
That's not what the series is about you brainlets
Please enlighten me high iq anons.
I have seen the Anime years ago but decided to check the manga, are there any significant differences aside from the artstyle?
The brostep soundtrack aged pretty badly
>she didn't responsibly dispose of her waste in an environmentally friendly way
Not all of them though, this guy was based.
Also there were some decent non-dubstep tracks in the OST

It already ended and the ending wasn't very good.
there's not much to talk about because its just ok and in between shonen and seinen while not being all that profound. and it's just a 1 anime season from 2014.

That OP is so damn good
It only carried the aesthetics over, they deal thematically with different things
It’s popular as hell tho
The idea that HUMANS ARE THE REAL PARASITES is only embraced by one minor character and couldn't possibly be your main takeaway from the story unless you're some simpleton or a poser who just wants to create a shit thread.
And even if that was the main theme of the story, guess what? It could still hold some value depending on how it's conveyed and how nuanced that position is. Humans factually drove a bunch of species or even ecosystems to extinction simply by existing in one area then moving on to the next. I don't understand people who weirdly offended by anything vaguely critical of HUMANS as if our species is some moral paragon that should never be questioned.
Why is it so hard for retards to understand Parasyte? The author makes Izumi explains his thoughts on the story in the last chapter (and episode), yet we get those idiotic threads every month.
I suspect the action scenes attract shounen kiddies.
