Did Tom Cruise did a good job with the live action Nagatoro adaptation?

We already got a callback to Naoto and Nagatoro's last shrine visit, and were immediately faced with the difference in tone, with Naga's expression leaving nothing for Naoto to doubt. This led me to thinking what other callbacks and shifts from their last visit can 774 throw at us? The first thing that came to mind is their location, Jishu Shrine, where visitors hope to gain a blessing from the Gods. Naoto's strongest moment in their last visit was his statement that 'He shouldn't be praying to a god, he should work on it himself', and we all know how far he's come since then. I can't help but wonder if we'll get another similar but different moment like that one. What are your thoughts / expectations, other than the obvious shrine attraction? (Blind walk etc..)

We could get a picnic table confession scene as a callback to the webcomic

This is what I am hoping for.
A picnic table confession scene that the onlookers over hear. Possibly even a kissu_____ that will happen that Naga sees the onlookers just after and gets flustered.

I'm expecting this moment since the beginning, I think it's the only reference missing from the original set.
