Drainage City by Horihone Saizou. The most bizarre part of it was that I liked it for the heartwarming stories and characters.
Yumetsukai was weird in a dream-like way which was also quite nice.

Fourteen by Kazuo Umezu
A chicken/human mutant hybrid grows from a chicken breast in an industrial farm, absorbs human knowledge and speech, and dubs himself Dr. Chicken George. He then launches a campaign against humanity on behalf of animals and battles the USA whilst building a t-rex style space ark to evacuate the Earth of animals, as a prophecy has said that all life will become extinct when humans die out in the next fourteen years.
Seeded among this are sections on marijuana legalisation, the distortions of the mass media, butterfly attacks on human beings, and philosophical thought experiments on the nature of the universe. Also a random alien invasion where people are sexually assaulted for their precious bodily fluids.

It's almost a cliche at this point to say Fourteen, but goddamn, there probably aren't very many manga that are batshit in the way it is.
There's all sorts of highly weird and twisted (ero)guro stories, experimental manga, and comedies, but Fourteen is just thoroughly bizarre in a completely different way
