how long till we're caught up on mamiya?

What's the general consensus on Mamiya's manga?

great mahjong action but otherwise feels kind of pointless so far. Hopefully this game is just the intro and not the whole series.

It's fun. I think Mamiya is something FKMT has wanted to make for a long time. His early works were all pretty fun and goofy before he started writing more serious mahjong and gambling manga. Now that he's forever rich (or at least financially afloat) on Kaijibucks, he can make whatever manga he wants and I think that's a manga about a cute girl that plays mahjong and flirts with old men. That being said, I hope that Mamiya takes a darker turn. I'm not a fan of gambling series where the protagonist never fails or suffers and most people wouldn't let Mamiya get hurt because she's a cute girl. Considering Mamiya is apart of the Akagiverse she'll most likely be an unstoppable badass like Ten and Akagi. But as long as the battles of philosophy, psychology and ideals are top tier I think Mamiya could end up being as great

Mamiya is alright, but the villain is boring as shit.

watching Tonegawa and run with the wind with Any Forums was a good time

What does that have to do with FKMT?

cute
I haven't read it but I could put up with a new MC for more fkmt mahjong shenanigans

The villain is unironically better than Mamiya so far and right about everything

He's literally just "evil rich old man no. 4356"...

Just recently I rewatched Tonegawa's second ED, that song is great.
OP is great too.

Read what he says. It's all perfectly reasonable
