What did you think of this?
What did you think of this?
I liked it, nice morbid underlying theme making it unique for a kids film.
didn't complete it
also,
>MERICAN SO STUPID
>LOVE BIG GUN POW POW BANG MOVIE, KIRR EACH OTHER
>NO MAKE GOOD KIND AND HAPPY MOVIE, LIKE US JAPANESE
>ALSO I WORSHIP THIS PLANE BUILT SPECIFICALLY TO KILL HUMAN BEINGS, WHICH WAS USED IN AN ULTRA-COWARDLY WAY THAT MY COUNTRYMEN MISTAKENLY THOUGHT WAS COOL
i've seen diarrhea shit with more symmetry than this bait
I thought it was vigorous, subtle, thematically daring, and visually gorgeous.
I love it, love the story love the characters love the acting love the art and animation love the themes. It's one of my favourite movies, seen it many times now.
>Nothing personnel, kid
reminder that all kamikaze attacks in history resulted in like 2 american deaths. literally the worst technique in the history of war
>WARCRIMES . . . LE GOOD . . !
Very well directed. I don't know why everyone is acting offended that it may glorify a warplane engineer, though.
user, master film critic
It's my theory that if a post is over 80% greentext or caps then is absolutely retarded
It comes off as hypocritical from someone like Miyazaki.
I don't remember. It didn't leave any crazy impression on me.
what's the hypocrisy in it? It's a fictionalized story and it's very much in line with all what Miyazaki has created.
Very good. Whoever think its a snorefest are ADHD kids who constantly needs a rush of dopamine by watching flashy shits like JJK or Chainsaw Man
I don't think you actually watched the film, user.
I read Miyazaki's books and saw echoes of the themes explored in Wind Rises from essays and shit he wrote in the 80s. I'm not sure you have a good grasp of what Miyazaki thinks, and honestly I don't blame you given how retarded the discourse surrounding him on Any Forums is.
I forgot to mention, the OST is godtier. The journey theme is one of hisaishi's best.
Best Miyazaki movie.
It's hypocritical. he condemns people for liking action entertainment and is personally obsessed with a weapon of war and killing, cowardly killing at that.
There's absolutely no way it isn't hypocritical...if that's your stance you need to reevaluate your relationship with reality
I love the movie and I also love Chainsaw Man. Just wanted to share that
