One Punch Man Ch 164/165

is this the fastest retcon in manga history?

Honestly the "talk" was fucking cringe, the manga is definitely a mess but at least this new chapter is closer to the webcomic and far less embarrassing to read with some actual excitement behind it. Don't really like the cosmic skin though, would much rather see just Garou's shadowy features than this shit.

why are they chillin

Murata is the worst thing that could ever happen to ONE's One Punch Man. Such a shame

You know it was ONE finally saying to Murata that he had gone too far with the deviations.

ESTUPIDOS RETRASADOS

it's a publicity stunt

It's seriously amazing how a manga with so much effort put into its art is so completely incompetent at telling an actual story. I bought 2 volumes years ago but I'm this point I'm just going to sell them back for hopefully 2 bucks each to not waste my shelf space.

The original Japanese volumes or the ones from Viz? I heard Viz censored a few pages with Fubuki, or at least printed them out shoddily in a way that loses a lot of the original detail.

Why hasn't someone edited Saitama as One and Garou as Murata?

They have. It was in the last thread.

kek without murata OPM would never ever be famous

Squiggly line Garou from the webcomic was still him at his most menancing. It made him unnatural in a meta-level, since he was literally drawn differently from the rest of the characters.

What is this? The Elden Beast? Squishy

Which one you talking about?

What retcon? What changed in the last chapter that was immediately reversed? What am I missing

will we see him again?

i'm currenlty reading volume 9 of the manga, at what point do webcomic and manga start to diverge heavily?

Instead of Saitama and Garou's fight ending with them talking it in an abandoned house in the breeze of the open sea, God came to Earth through its weakened magnetic field and possessed Garou.

It seems like the moment that changed everything was when Saitama decided to knock Garou's block off instead of grabbing his fist and wrestling him to the ground where he could be subdued.

EL HERMANO DE BOROS

This sure is like webcomic having garous personal growth and saitamas worldviews clashing resulting in Garou re-orienting himself.

where is the updated chapter revision? I only saw the tea table date.

I feel like the webcomic had some really interesting ideas but ultimately never went anywhere with them. Like the thing about Garou being a monster as a hobby vs. Saitama's hero hobby

yeah, see...
my usual OPM chapter host still has the same scene up in the last chapter.

I miss this ending. It was so cute

Cosmic Garou looks cool but what is the point? Saitama's going to swat him away in one punch. We know this. The comic's been running for 7 years.

One gives 0 shits about OPM and hasn“t for years now.

Why does Garou wanna die

There's a theory that the redraw was caused by God. He reached into our reality and made it happen so he could have his proper revenge. This is supported by the moon-eye in the very last panel there.
