I mean, in the end it's just a basic (and arguably pretty important) narrative device to show what's different about them now. There's always a moment early in the fight where they "accidentally" show off their new super strength and are usually surprised by the effect, too. But I think it's not hard to see why that's not nearly as iconic as "the jump", since it's way cuter and more fun a moment.
