Jojolion was nonsensical bullshit, which is sad because it followed the best part. Seems like main characters named Josuke always have shit parts that lack the "adventure" part of JJBA. Kira always carries those low points though.

How could Araki make another Part 7 tier story? Does he need another linear story with an end goal (like a horse race or a serial killer's arrest) to keep the nonsense in line?

Planning most of the story would be a good start.

Araki has always made up shit as he went along but it still always amounted to something mostly coherent. The second half of JoJolion felt like he had a completely different narrative in his head every time he drew a new chapter.

I suspect it might be the monthly chapters that fucked up part 7. It gave Araki too much time to think. At least Steel Ball run had a couple weekly volumes to establish everything before going monthly.
