The McRib has such a status preciously because it is ephemeral.

I like it.

I used to like Shinobu too but after decades of the exact same body type and style for every character like this it gets stale and boring.

So this McRib queen was a nice and unique refresher.
It's like appreciating the finer things, an acquired taste for the more refined palate.

I can't empathize with this at all. My brain just doesn't function that way. I don't have a constantly evolving definition of what's attractive. I still find the same girls attractive that I did when I was 10.

Yes, that's exactly the thing I can't empathize with. I can understand growing to appreciate more things over time but the best of the best is still going to be the "vanilla missionary sex" that you mentioned.

I can understand that in theory but it's simply not how it works for me.
Coming back to nostalgic smut only illicits something like "oh yeah this was nice" and not "oh yeah this is best thing ever, better than the new stuff, how could i ever choose anything else".

So it's not like I'm no longer into it, I can definitely still appreciate it, but discovering something fresh has a nicer edge to it.
