Just started reading Nagatoro this week after seeing all the threads.
How would everyone rate this manga?
I like the whole will-they-won't-they aspect these kinds of manga provide, but like most manga of that kind; it gets old real fast.
"Just fuck already", is what comes to mind.
At least we aren't being strung along as bad as that "Rent-a-girlfriend" shit.....yet.

Nanashi's taking it slow but I'd say there's definite development, especially since the shrine visit when Senpai just straight up said 'if I want to ask you out I need to work on myself first', and the teasing from Naga has gotten a lot reduced and become almost incidental (unfortunately). I don't think we'll get to rent-a-cuck levels before the major stuff happens, thankfull.

I wouldn't really say this manga has that attitude. Their relationship starts off on the bully-victim level but very nicely progresses beyond that.
If anythig this manga has a rather "femme fatale" approach to their relationship, albeit quite modified. But it's a very enjoyable ride. It's cute, quite funny and god-awfully sweet. Its artstyle is also quite notable. Their facial epression and even the weird degradations create an interesting "signature" by which you can easily differentiate this manga or rather, the artist, from others.

If the only thing you're getting out of it is the will-they-or-won't-they, then you shouldn't read this or any unfinished romcoms.
There's no telling how long this manga will last. By design it pretty much HAS to be set over just two school years, and the first year took 81 chapters (plus extras). However, as far as I know this has been Nanashi's most successful project (financially, at least) and he may not be in any hurry to conclude it. So who knows how long the second year will last?
Let's guess that the range is 180-240 total chapters (not including extras). I don't know how often Nanashi plans on taking three-week breaks, but let's say he's consistently putting out 21-24 chapters a year. This manga isn't going to end for several years even on the lowball estimate.
