Can read manga for hours on end

Why am I like this?

I can't watch more than one episode of anime a day.

You already read the manga so it's not as engaging?

same desu

Normally if a series isn't complete I'll switch over to the manga.

I think its the speed. Anime has to have the characters speak out in conversation. When you read, the characters "speak" as fast as you comprehend. It feels slower and less engaging as a result. Also, some anime tend to stretch scenes out to match the runtime of a standard TV program. Manga does not have this roadblock, so scenes feel smoother.

Because manga is the better medium.
>Has all the source material
>Is faster
>More digestible
>No filler garbage
And it's just good to read. Looking a screen for prolonged periods isn't very good.

reading is faster unless you pick something up with god tier drawings, then i spend extra time to enjoy detials

FMA 03' is better than the manga.

>>Has all the source material
Not if you're reading a translation. With anime you can hear the original dialogue

>>No filler garbage
kek'd hard

Anyways, anime originals are far superior to manga. Manga's biggest flaw is being serializations that encourage the story to never end. Anime originals are set for a cour or two (or maybe even 4 if we're talking about the old 50 episode anime originals we don't get anymore). We just don't get very many good anime originals these days and there's thousands of manga to choose from.

I appreciate the art more in manga than flashing colours in anime.

Do you like the music in combination with the flashing colors at least?

Yeah. Sometimes I'll loop the ost while reading the panels.

Never go that far. Both were good on their own. One as a shonen an 2003 as a seinen version
Yeah, i prefer the older one as well (Shambala sucked dick though)

I watch a couple episodes of the anime to get acquainted with the colors. Then I read the manga and imagine the panels in color.

Do you guys read in different voices or stay with the same voice?

depends on the meds

same when it comes to books, I can no longer sit through a tv show or anime, I lately even struggle to watch a 2 hours film on a single sitting, yet once I pick up a novel or a manga I just keep reading until my eyes tire out or something comes up.
I think for me the biggest advantage of these two is the lack of sound, I enjoy silence a lot, I noticed that I have an easier time watching anime when it's muted

Manga doesn't require any brain activity or commitment compared to anime. It's for quickly getting through.

I do this

you're watching anime you don't like very much. If you were reading manga you didn't like very much maybe knowing the fact that you can speed up the pace to get through it faster helps you carry on?

This but with LNs
You need to play anime at 3x speed to keep up the pace with reading at the very least.

ADHD
you are hyperfocusing on the manga
you're unable to do it on the anime because the sensory stimulus is too agitating for you brain
No judgement here but that is the actual answer
