Don't be proud of your talents, even if they make you vastly superior to others

>don't be proud of your talents, even if they make you vastly superior to others
>true fulfilment comes from wageslaving and conforming to society's standards, never stand out
Why is ONE like this?

yep that's definitely the intended message from his works

gag manga

The message is stop being a sperg.

filtered retard

>why yes i have no reading comprehension

Because that's the Japanese way. Act "humble" even though it makes you look like a condescending asshole.

he is japanese

I think that the message was not to take everything for granted/act like you are better than everyone just because you have something others don't, good things take effort, sitting in your ego all day will only make you a spoiled person. Just conforming and getting a shitty job being the message conflicts with the Reigen story of trying to be someone and not just being a wage slave.

>The main character is the living embodiment of the idea that hard work and perseverance beats talent
>Everyone with talent in the series is shown to be an overconfident asshole

Why are YOU like this

No you retard, it's a message about not coasting on your talents and never being too good to improve in new areas. It's why Mob is so endearing, he never lets his power get to his head because he understands he's still got so many other ways he can improve.

Here's a real simple one
If you are rich, handsome, etc don't look down on others..

You will live in a society and be happy.

He never said that.

>Mob psycho 100
>"Mob" as in background character
>Surprised when the themes revolve around fitting in

Honestly I think the way One handled it was really clever and well done. Try reading at more than a surface level sometime.

You are right. Being the strongest people in the world, Saitama and Mob can bring about real change but they're just lazy bastards who don't give a fuck and want to pretend to be part of society

Being special doesn't entitle you to become a big baby and whining about how special you are, you're just as human as anyone else.
The message was clearly shown when the masked claw guy was unmasked and metaphorically transformed into a baby for a while

It's fuckin Japanese conformist propaganda, obviously

This manga is the equivalent of not using that important potion for the final boss fight because you think you’ll need it later.
AKA playing like a hoarder.

99% of people won't change the world, so yeah stay humble bitch.
Also much ofhis work satirises the ridiculousness of societal norms.

Because One is Saitama in real life
