It's obvious they're slowly nerfing Sasuke and Naruto until they become irrelevant or they're killed off. They can't have characters overshadow Boruto and the new characters, so they're nerfing them. Boruto is clearly going to become a God I guess, and Mitsuki can already use sage mode, plus Sarada already has three tomoe and she's like 11-12 years old, about the same age Sasuke was when he got his third tomoe.
No telling what Sarada's mangekyou ability will be either, or how she'll awaken it. I figured Sasuke will die or maybe Boruto will die. If she had been there when Boruto "died" it might have awakened it in her.
