I know you love Araki user, but it's time to let go and put the old boy down.
It was the little things he forgot at first, like flashback man, or Karera, then he got progressively worse and by the end he's forgetting entire chapters and setups like the flashforward, and who the protagonist is supposed to be. You can always go back and reread parts 1-7, its better that you remember him for what he was rather than the shell he's become. It's time for Ultra Jump to take him out behind the old woodshed now, say your goodbyes, stay strong and smile for him.

He never forgor Karera she is even mentionned in the final chapter. Not sure what was going on with Flashback man or the flashforward tho

My only hope is that Araki actually plans out what he's doing this time so that we don't get another cluster fuck like part 8. At the very least i'd like to know who the main villain is supposed to be before the last 5 chapters

Objectively wrong.
There are better ideas in Part 8, but the overall lack of cohesion made the story pointless.
I'd rather read Phantom Blood or Battle Tendency than an incoherent mess.

If he just makes a simple and straight forward story, it'll be fine.

>Part 8 like 4 and 6 had no fixed end point or plan, he may have wanted to pull a Twin Peaks which was intended to be a continual mystery without end but networks forced them to reveal the killer and wrap it up
