I'm really getting tired of translators replacing dialogue with memes and zoomer speak

Literally untrue, when guys like Dogen and Chris in Japan exist.
The hiragana/katakana are simple, the grammar is...HARDER than English but nothing too extraordinary, the phonetics are pretty simple, the musical "intonation" is kinda accessible if you listen tot a LOT of anime and songs in Japanese.
Really though.
It's a matter of motivation and patience to be willing to sit through the tons of kanji, when it comes down to the essential.
