It's conflicting for me, because the tv series was one of the few anime which had an almost perfect ending, and it really didn't need a sequel.
But on the other hand, Rebellion is so kino that almost makes up for it.
Then again, since Rebellion had an open ending, there is the risk that they will fuck up the story in the sequel.
