Vampire in the Garden

This is pretty good, but I have to say, this guy is the biggest victim in the whole anime.
Just minding his own business doing a honest living, but ended up losing all his assets and women, he was even robbed of his urge to murder Momo just to keep the story going, all because she wouldn't follow a simple rule. She could at least try to stay out of sight and use the backdoor.

She didn't even give him a sorry.

I tried watching it and honestly bore me to tears. Maybe I should give it another chance because I love vampire stuff like this, but this one didn't do it for me from what I've seen.

Idk man the soviet aesthetics and the quite obvious depiction of the human proletariat vs the vampire bourgeoisie were ... interesting in my book. Not really subtle at all, but still an interesting reference to Marxist theory. It's only fitting that the storyline and world is as retarded and unrealistic as the theory it heavily references. "No music allowed" in order to hide from vampires while your city is constantly performing a lightshow you could spot from dozens of kilometers away. No basic understanding of human society, economics or military structures was present when some retard came up with this world, so by all means this could've easily been written by Marx himself would he be alive today.
At least they didn't prolong this shitshow for more than the bare minimum and we can be certain that this one time experiment won't be coming back. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same for communism or socialism, a plague that just keeps coming back as mankind's mental deficiencies truly know no bounds.

holy based this is what pol does to retards

I literally have to pay taxes to fund the modernization of the part of my country the socialists run down in the 45 years they were in power. My parents paid that for over 30 years at this point and it's still not all fixed. The structural damages caused by 45 years of mismanagement are so severe only my grandchildren might not have to pay this gay ass tax.

Literal nothingburger, does not deliver on anything, I expected the vampire to at lest have a bit of fun with her newfound blood bag

Yeah sorry

But that would be gay.

I'm wondering the music thing was a mistranslation or they did not expand on it enough. It felt more like humans hated music because it became something that vampires did. Momo's mom didn't yell at her for making noise, she specifically blew up because 'that's their culture!'

Then Momo's uncle said that showing them movies and music was how they tricked people.

It felt like they meant to have a different message there but didn't really get it across.

Vampires as an allegory of the decadent aristocracy has been a thing since Bram Stoker's Dracula. At this point it's overdone

I think the writer just didn't think it that much and he wanted to portray his neoliberal vision of communism as a grey, industrialized shithole where arts and joy are forbidden, despite communism regimes loved to promote the arts as propaganda tools. The ending is pretty much utopic communism with a return to the land, hence it looks almost like a dream sequence. Utopia means no land after all

I saw more a military fascist government bent on pure survival at all costs. I feel like it would be hard to have any kind of other government when everything goes to shit like that.

The cyrillic alphabet was probably mean to refer to communism.

I'm just waiting for proper kino vamp WN/LN adaption, though it might take a while.
Necromacy+Undead+Vampires is how you do it.

Reminder that Fine impregnated Momo.

Lesbian vampires are cursed in anime

Does it say that? I'm not fluent. It felt more like set dressing to me.

That's bullshit and not only because Momo and Fine didn't even kiss. First, Momo looks like an adult so that mean several years have passed. Second, the story follows a typical Class S narrative. Fine was stuck on her adolescence for her trauma so she was still attracted to women, especially underage girls that remind her to Aria. Meanwhile Momo successfully grow up and became an adult woman, which mean she can marry a man and become a mother. It just doesn't make sense in any level to Fine to preg Momo

I can't read cyrillic either but the alphabet is related to communism because the Soviet Union.

Uncle was the coolest character. He deserved better

You actually got me looking now and its a rabbit hole. Did you know there are 50 languages that use a version of Cyrillic? Although there are regional differences since it was based on the original Greek so it ended up in a lot of different places with many of them having their own specific letters.

Do you have a screenshot? I'd like to see if I could place it! It would be kinda boring if it was just plain Russian.
