What genres do you watch/read? Any that you avoid?
For me, I'll alternate between something serious and something silly. I'm a sucker for battle harems(or goofy harems in general) and seinen and I avoid yaoi, shoujo and moe

If you are a sucker for battle harems you are not avoiding moe.

Battle shounen
Romcom
Non-CGDCT SoL
Psychological stuff
Some isekai stuff are good too

Gayshit (Yuri/Yaoi)
CGDCT moeshit
Haremshit
Magical girl garbage
Pretentious garbage
Avoiding shoujo is an amateur mistake, reconsider that.
Highschool DxD, Sekirei, Rosario + Vampire, etc are not Moe. It does get annoying having to deal with the obligatory Loli type but I can get passed it.
Lucky star, azumanga daioh, etc are all shit I'll avoid
You clearly have no idea what moe is.
All of those are moe, and your pic in the op is moe too.

I don't have a strong preference for genres so long as it has plot or something of interest going for it. Can be battle manga, drama, horror, romance, with a serious tone or more light hearted, whatever.
As such, slice of life and romcoms get the boot. They'll be like 100 chapters of absolutely nothing happening, I cannot fucking stand it.
I know what Any Forums avoids, a whole subgenre that even needs it's own board.
I like dark fantasy like berserk. I generally avoid all those romcom animes that look exactly the same.
I go into a year of watching a genre, then change into another, last year was mecha, this year is CGDCT.
So far this has been working for me
>What genres do you watch/read?
Big ass anime tiddies.
I avoid yaoi, most sports and edge.
What do you plan on doing for a career after you graduate high school?
Watching sol cgdct moeshit isn't mature, user.
Battleshonen, Romcom, isekai and psychological stuff are even more childish.
I'M FUCKING OVER THE STORYTELLING OF WEEKLY MANGA! THEY ALWAYS FUCK IT UP BY THE END! FROM NOW ON I'M ONLY READING GAG MANGA!!
Is this how moeshitters cope? Don't embarrass yourself any further.
I seek out
