Is Asta the only true underdog MC?
Is Asta the only true underdog MC?
Idk having a secret demon brother where you get your anti magic from doesn't make him much of a underdog
Antimagic is ridiculously overpowered
maybe, but black clover sucks
Not really, he gets hardcountered by about anyone who can physically enhance themselves beyond his level, as shown by Vetto.
He also suffers ambient effects from magic as shown by the Fana fight, so anyone capable of heating up the air or drowning him under enough pressure/weight by dropping a fuckton of earth or water under him would fuck his shit up too.
Before he figured out qi sensing, Patri and anyone capable of firing at that speed would've hardcountered his ass too.
Time Magic probably is also capable of fucking his shit up.
Antimagic only really hardcounters regen, poison/mind control shit, and defensive fighters, which amounts of basically hardcountering stalling strategies.
>Ur special cuz ur not special
I'm convinced that this shit is a parody manga and its fans are just in on the joke.
He is not even the true underdog of his series, Magna is
How's he an underdog?
This is just a shittier version of Rock Lee being a genius of hard work
Despite how much people meme on it, Naruto is far better than Mid Clover
>I'm the underdog
>I have anti-magic powers in a world of magic
Why do isekainiggers and BCfags fall for this shit.
Any Forums usually agree that the best shonen underdog is World Trigger's Mikumo.
Sakata gintoki
Eren Yeager
Yuji itadori
Goku is still the best underdog, Supershit notwithstanding
How is Yuji an underdog retard
Naruto Uzumaki
>Eren Yeager
>literally gets handed the most convenient tool to deal with the titan menace after 4 episodes
Kek,
>has no technique when 99% of the characters do
>Doesn't come from a fancy clan
>The demon inside him doesn't give him any power
Inb
>Super strength and speed
Irrelevant ,Evey character have it
>Can't use it until almost the very end
>Had to kill his loving father to get it
>Had no titan trainings like the same warriors did
>he gets hardcountered by about anyone who can physically enhance themselves beyond his level, as shown by Vetto
didn't he get past that magic by just stabbing him
His strength increases proportionally to the number of fingers he eats, he has a special snowflake ability and he was already superhuman even before the finger.
underdog is somebody who solves minor problems that may prevent huge disasters in the future, it's somebody nobody cares about, it's somebody who uses underhanded tactics to save himself or defeat an enemy, it's somebody who relies on his wit first and foremost not somebody who powerplows throught every problem or opponent he encouters
japs can never write a protagonist like that because that requires an actual functioning brain
He's literally the son of one of the most notorious, powerful and thousands of year old curseuser/sorcerer that is most likely created for the sole purpose of being the host for sukuna
>>Can't use it until almost the very end
He could use it perfectly fine whenever it was convenient for the plot. In fact, he could use it so well, he was able to use an ability he didn't know he had that allowed him to deal with titans without even transforming by just screaming at them! Wow
>>Had to kill his loving father to get it
Yep, and he wasn't even aware of that. Meaning, it didn't even effect his mental state kek.
>>Had no titan trainings like the same warriors did
He was perfectly fine using his titan form after like the first obstacle in Trost, the rest works just like your standard Mech with a pilot. Meaning, his combat training enhanced his titan form anyway. So worthless point
Nobody wants to follow a loser in a world with superhuman characters that are all more interesting.
Nope, BC's antimagic is not on the level of Index's Imagine Breaker, it doesn't dispel body enhancement.
Asta needed Vanessa and Finral to make his movements unpredictable enough so that they could stall for time until Yami got there to save their asses.
>japs can never write a protagonist like that because that requires an actual functioning brain
>on Any Forums
mayhaps
O my demon brother!
re:zero protagonist is big counter point to your claim
No it doesn't .
Headcanon
It's Goku.
Anti-DB tards will scoff at this because Goku has an actual advantage over humans in terms of genetics but that's about where his superior genetics take him. He's the lowest of the low in terms of Saiyan genetics and Saiyans despite how many forms they have and the useful zenkai abilities are actually also bottom of the barrel regardless of all the posturing. Namekians have better genetics and so did Freeza, Cell and Buu. Goku is also always on the backfoot, loses all the time and the last time he won a fight 1v1 without outside assistance was Piccolo Jr.
>underdog
>constantly reminds you that hes super (un)special
>beats you over the head about hardwork
>everyone keeps saying hes inspiring
>practically a caste based system in the world with the nobles being cartoonishly elitest
Did i mention his magic is working hard?
>He could use it perfectly fine whenever it was convenient for the plot. In fact, he could use it so well, he was able to use an ability he didn't know he had that allowed him to deal with titans without even transforming by just screaming at them! Wow
He literally got decapitated to being able to use the founding Titan by touching Zeke
>Yep, and he wasn't even aware of that. Meaning, it didn't even effect his mental state kek.
What the hell ! He still found out he killed his father that's still painful af specially since he spent four years hoping he was alive
>He was perfectly fine using his titan form after like the first obstacle in Trost, the rest works just like your standard Mech with a pilot. Meaning, his combat training enhanced his titan form anyway. So worthless point
No he always struggled and needed lot of help from the scouts
