You can see how whenever he does something retarded yet again, instead of holding his feet to the fire Toyopacos double down on it. When he fucks up the lore it's actually a mistranslation. When he draws broken necks and freakishly large/small limbs, it's "perspective". When he makes blatant lore-impacting drawing mistakes due to constant tracing his assistants are to blame for not correcting it. When he traces, it's not actually tracing.
Instead of conforming to his fans, Cuckofucko created a psychological connection where his fans feel the need to conform to him. Basically reversed the power dynamic of the situation. They shill for him for free, as if their lives depend on it, when that faggot should be the one with the responsibility to create good content that is well-liked and doesn't need damage control.
The reason it's gotten so comically retarded nowadays is basic sunk cost fallacy. Each time they double down on his retarded shit, the need to double down becomes greater. If you're still a hardcore Toyopaco at this point you've been defending him through 100+ tracing scandals, broken anatomy, ruined characters (Moro) and asspulls, so your psychological attachment to being right about Toyotaco is extremely high and you will take any possible cope to avoid admitting having been wrong. A great example is the "UI not a power-up" headcanon they've been spreading for years. It was so utterly obliterated by Toyotaro himself that there is literally no mental gymnastics coping left to justify the headcanon they invented, so the only thing they have left is to LITERALLY pretend it didn't happen and not acknowledge reality in any way.
