It is written by a woman but I don't think that's why, besides, I think some of the topics it deals with are not well developed or it is difficult to accept, for example:
Mc has two fiancées, but he doesn't fuck any of them until the penultimate vol. worse still Agie and Libia are full lesbians and they fuck constantly when mc is on a trip. Although for some reason nothing is ever described to us, damn it!!! The problem with the writing is that sometimes mc seems to accept that fact and not care, and other times it seems like he just doesn't know what to do. I don't know whether to call it bad writing or just the author doesn't know how to deal with this topic, it's not really bad after all Angie and Libia are totally faithful to mc. Also there is a subplot between in vol. 5(I think) quite horrible(ntr), although in the end the two stupid´s get what they deserve. There are good characters that for some reason end up dying and others survive in plan "spend the rest of their lives in retribution for their sins" Although there are minor differences in the LN and WN. The animation lacks of quality is basically QUALITY I honestly have no problem with Angie and Libya being lesbians but I would have liked mc to have some kind of explanation or development as to why he doesn't really care. I as a reader can imagine a number of things, like maybe MC is a Yurifag or something.

In addition, mc is constantly courting and shamelessly with the queen in front of his fiancées, which makes him totally based. Angie is not in love with MC but for political reasons she decided to marry him to show him true affection, she does not feel forced but one of those topics that are left up in the air and you as a reader have to accept just because it is written like that. In other words, all of Mc's girlfriends are in love with MC in some way except Angie, Angie will always be in love with Julius just as the capture characters fall in love with a single woman permanently. Although in the alternative route "Marie's route" there is a good development between Mc and Angie, there you can appreciate the love that Angie feels for Mc.
