Are you retarded? The Japanese didn't rename anything, they only pronounce the same characters differently. It's the same reason why in Kingdom you can easily jump between Chinese and Japanese pronunciation even for the entirely fictional characters since you don't have to look up the historic counter-part name separately.
It's like the difference of how Louis is often pronounced "Lewis" in English, but "Lui" in French or such.
