All seasons are standalone. You should start from episode 1, but you could start any show and be fine. Just not that Futari wa and Yes have two seasons, so make sure to start on the correct season.

I genuinely hope that Amane truly is just a schizo. The idea of her being brainwashed, and consequently being healed by good food, is just not very good. Proper execution could salvage it but I'm not expecting much. It'd be wonderful if she could switch between Gentle form and Cure Finale after she becomes part of the team.
