After watching this film I'm beginning to think stuff made by TRIGGER just isn't for me.
Promare
better late than never
Trigger stopped being good after 2014.
Are you straight or something?
Imagine fucking the green-haired twink in the ass.
Everything trigger does is shit so yes
I liked it a lot.
Loved the final battle and honestly I didn't think that they had the balls to do an actual gay kiss in a japanese movie.
For me it's a solid 8/10
>makes twink villain and hot protag to appeal to fujoshits
>they forget about the movie a month latter
L mao
Honestly despite all the meming I didn't think Promare was that gay aside from the CPR scene. It's not like Galo & Lio's relationship was even a core focus of the movie to begin with considering they barely even interact.
The animation and overall style was nice, but I couldn't really find myself caring about the characters much. I don't even need them to be deep or anything just purely entertaining or bombastic would've been enough but the movie decided to go for a lot more of a serious angle with how the characters were handled. Which I'll be honest was the exact opposite of what I was expecting.
>It's not like Galo & Lio's relationship was even a core focus of the movie to begin with considering they barely even interact.
The bulk of the movie's second act is Galo yearning to interact with Lio more and understand him better, all but going "wherefore art though Lio"
Wait wait wait.
Are you saying the green haired character on the left is a guy?
I never finished klk. I think the last thing I enjoyed was TTGL
Yeah I was surprised too when I watched it.
Yes
But TTLG wasn't even made only by them.
Wait, that was Gainax
I just remembered. Well shit, then I don't think I've ever enjoyed anything trigger has done
fuck off fun hater
Trigger is fucking trash always has been
I enjoy dumb fun, though. Promare just didn't click with me.
Trigger has the potential to make a new Gurren Lagann type show, but they refuse for some reason. Their bombastic style is much better suited for action shows than the slice-of-life/comedy shows they've made.
And very manly guy, actually.

What about they hearth shaped light?
It's still screening in theatres to this day, bro.
