I hate when people on here pretend everyone in the world was a sadist that wanted the eldians tortured to death, one of the marleyan characters does say that there are countries where the eldians are treated worse than in Marley, because Marley at least gives them a chance to be treated better by joining the military, however, this doesn't mean the entire outside world deserves to be absolutely rumbled, it doesn't even mean all countries are worse than Marley. Imagine this, you are born in some random part of the world, you lead an ordinary life, you know there's a certain race of people that's harshly oppressed due to conflicts of the past, this doesn't sound fair to you but what can you do? You are just some guy, and ordinarly life has it's own problems too so you won't become a hero that advocates for the rights of the opressed, most of you can relate to that can't you? even if you are slightly racist it's not like it would be your fault, you were born and everyone around you told you it was the right thing to believe, and one day, you realize that the entire world is going to be destroyed because one of them lashed out, your family, every country, every culture, and even most animals in the world who had nothing to do with this, will die, everything crushed by colossal titans, nothing will be left outside of that mysterious island you know nothing about, Any Forums fags think this cool and fair and consider the alliance to be cringe for not wanting this to happen lol, not even Eren wanted this you faggots, and you think Eren is pathetic and deserves no respect just because he cried before killing himself? Most of you would probably piss and shit and cum too if that were the case for you.
I hate when people on here pretend everyone in the world was a sadist that wanted the eldians tortured to death...
God-King Eren is above such pitiful concerns. His vision will be realized. HY!

Sasuga
The world is set up in such an absurd situation for Isayama to live out his genocide fantasies free of guilt, then he decided he didn't want to let his dark self insert win so he gave his good boy self insert a win and happy ending
That's it, there's nothing more to unpack
most people believed the propaganda that every single eldian can turn into a titan and wants nothing more than to eat every single human, that a titan is their true form and any semblance of human emotion is like a lie to try and trick humans into letting their guard down
You don't need to type all that. Eldians are literally monsters, there's nothing wrong with exterminating them.
Pre-rumbling
>KILL ALL FUCKIGN ELDIANS NOW
>THEY'RE DEVILS
Post-rumbling
>W-we never wanted to hurt Eldians haha
Not reading all that
I don't even like Gabi that much I just thought this pic was cute + don't know what's Sasuga is + I think the ending could have been done better because the amount of people seething at it is a sign of Isayama not being able to comunicate what was happening effectively, everyone views the ending in an incredibly different light and many people had no idea what the fuck was happening on the last chapt because it just dumps all the information in very few pages, also, the pacing is too fast.
If that where the case I have a hard time believing that they wouldn't be systematically killed and/or sterilized much worse than jews, people like Magath who seemed incredibly racist at first are shown to actually feel for the Eldians, they just surpress it or ignore it.
Being an Eldian sucks in general. You can't even control your "ability" to transform into a man-eating thing but you get treated as if you could anyway, and even if you somehow manage to get your hands on one of the Nine Shifters on the entire planet, your lifespan is basically castrated.
The AOT world is horrible and the first King Fritz basically got away with everything. At that point in the story the scars were too deep to just be overlooked by both sides. I'm genuinely glad his dream of making everybody on the planet a carrier of his DNA never got to fully pass, at the very least.
If this is how you actually think it was then you can't understand nuance, not everyone was an innocent and wonderful person but not everyone was a literal monster who wants the death of innocents for no reason neither, back when Hitler was rising to power in 1930's Germany did every german person deserve to die just because they allowed him to do what he did to the jews?
Actually this is Any Forums so I don't even know why I brought up the jews, shouldn't even talk about aot here desu.
Fuck, I want to fuck Gabi.
>I have a hard time believing that they wouldn't be systematically killed and/or sterilized
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it implied they were killed on discovery in pretty much every country other than Marley?
My understanding is that this is the case for certain countries but not all. Hell, we don't even know where most Eldians reside, we don't have enough info to judge the morals of the outside world, my point is that it's not fair to believe the outside world was horrible enough to warrant the rumbling so that glorious Eldia could establish it's ethnostate that would colonize the entire world in the future.
I've heard people say that this would have been better because at the end of the manga Paradis is shown to be destroyed a couple hundred years later when there are already modern cities and fighter jets, however, isn't this naive? There would have been civil wars within Eldia too given enough time, and then maybe Eldia would have scattered, and maybe 2000 years later the world would again be the same, separated by different states and cultures. The struggle is universal and eternal.
So basically, headcannon. Good for you annon, ignoring what the story literally tells you just so you can fit your morals into to it. Saying that every country on earth treats eldians worse than Marley, who puts them in internment camps and uses them as cannon fodder in their wars by turning them into mindless killing machines destined to suffer forever is clearly not enough. There must be some unmentioned hidden society who doesn't want that right? I bet that even if Isayama showed you eldians being rounded up and shot to death in every country on earth you'd still find some headcannon to reach the same conclusion as you have now.
And funny how people always bring up the potencial civil war in paradis, as if that has anything to do with the situation at hand or the struggle the story was trying to portray.
(((Marleyans)))
Eren did nothing wrong.
Show me when the manga says that literally every country treats Eldians worse thans pests. When I read the manga I had the sensation that a big part of the plot was that even though violence against the eldians was systemtized there were always those few people who felt pity and this all was happening because people were raised that way, that's why Armin is such a diplomacy fag, he wants to be hopeful. This all makes sense to me, that's why I had no problem with the rumbling not being 100%ed.
AOT makes a huge point about conflict being inevitable and everywhere, hell, in season 3 the main cast has to fight tooth and nail against the government of the place they live in.
Like shown in the manga, everybody is quite human. But if someone tries to kill you, you kill them. There's no walking around it, you die or you live. Simple as that. Eren halfassed it and the Eldians of Paradis died, simple as...
>attacked first
>killed innocent 20% in paradise
>made that land inhabitable
>counter attack only after the world declared war
its fine guys, we can talk it out
both sides are in the wrong
>my point is that it's not fair to believe the outside world was horrible enough to warrant the rumbling
well yeah that's kinda the whole point of the alliance. the rest of the world was just forcefed the koolaid by Marley as part of its conquest.
arguably if Eren just rumbled the military strongholds of Marley enough that it was impossible for it to retain control of the nations it had conquered things might have evened out politically.
but Eren didn't want to resurrect the Eldian empire or even its national identity. his goals were A) end all conflicts long enough for his friends to live peaceful lives. and B) eradicate all titans, which meant trusting in the future visions Ymir showed him to lead him down the path of that happening since he had no future visions of there being any more attack titans, which he both hoped meant that once he was done there would be no more shifters ever and probably no more titans, but also feared because it meant any plans that assumed Paradis would still have access to the power of titans after his inevitable death in a few years were doomed
