Firework festival
It's an entire overworked country, of course their consumer media stories revolve around scheduled holidays being the only way characters relax
>school culture festival
>sport festival
You forgot hot springs.
>and graduation?
they rarely do anything with halloween tho
>its the hot summer ep
Are there any "normal" manga that don't do any of these tropes?
hell yes
>it's an 8-12th grader who lives at home alone with a 6-12 year old sister with his parents working in america
...
I like it. You can see what each series does different, either in content or in execution. It's like playing standards in jazz. Or to a lesser extent covers in other kinds of music.
>all holidays possible masterfully covered
>two beach episodes
>school festival with yuri romeo and juliet play
YET the best ep by far is the winter episode where the girls do activities each on their own
how the fuck did they do it
this desu
in theory it's bland, but in practice it can produce some of the most entertaining content a series can produce. You can't possibly convince me all sports festival arcs, for example, are equal in quality/entertainment value. Some are executed to be great (Prison School comes to mind), and some are executed in such a way its just a backdrop for 4-koma gags and not too memorable to the average reader.
>its a 6-7 year old whose parents you never see episode
Why would a "normal" manga ignore normal events? Dumbass
>>beach trip
*water tank cleaning
good point
>water tank
Do some places say this instead of pool?
>halloween
I don't remember that very often. Christmas tho.
it was a literal water tank here
in think case i dont think it was a pool-pool, but like, a tank to simulate a natural body of water. it had like, fish and plants and shit.
I love this anime. Any more like it?
