>IM SYMBOLISING
Why does a lot of anime feature this flower? isn't there anything else to use? surely there are a lot of things you can use instead of the same fucking flower its annoying.
IM SYMBOLISING
Japs can't into writing
Lurk for two years before posting.
>No argument
it symbolizes death
They also usually use multiple symbolizations. Butterflies also symbolize death in east asian culture and they'll usually use them together.
I know that it symbolizes death. My point is isn't there anything else to use?
I don't think you understand the point of a symbol if you're complaining it's too closely associated with a concept.
There's nothing to argue. The heavy emphasis on visual symbolism and metaphors is a strength of anime and east asia story telling. It makes a work less bland from a visual sense and gives readers an idea or concept they can latch onto. If you can't realize this you NEED to leave or lurk more.
>I'M __-ING
Get the fuck out, crossboarder
>ignorant westoid stumbles upon eastern culture
May as well ask why they also feature telephone poles, overpasses, clouds and just scenery in general.
Why can't writers symbolize death by using anything other than this flower? this my question faggots there are probably a lot of other ways to do it in the east by they always go for the flower.
Why are you making the sweeping generalization that they don't?
/thread.
Because everytime death is implied this flower is used.
Mutt can't into different cultures
A lot of different things are usually used in addition to that. Frankly I think using a dozen different analogies for a singular point to be obnoxious .
correct
What flower is it?
Objection! Group photo on which someone can't be seen clearly is used much more often.
Spider lilly or something
>why use consistent symbols for common concepts
Do you literally not know how language works?
Nah, everything must be reinvented and quirky!
