Why arent seinen mangos more famous in the west?

Why arent seinen mangos more famous in the west?
You would think they would be since comics are in a way very similar.

A lot of manga need a popular anime adaptation to really break out in the west.

oh I didn't know seinen manga like
One Punch Man
Shield Hero
Vinland Saga
Kaguya-sama
My Dress-Up Darling
Dragon Maid
Re:Zero
aren't popular in the west

Because manchildren are too afraid of anything meant for adults so they're just fine with shonenshit and shojocunny

all shonen

They are popular in the western countries that matter (i.e. not America).

vinland saga isn't shonen💢

it needs an anime to get any kind of mainstream popularity
also in the west as much as we might not like to admit it, the VAST majority of people consuming anime or manga these days are teenagers.
Just look up any popular anime discussion and you'll instantly tell the majority of people are teens.

retard

this is the answer💯

I think that's the only one from his list that began publishing in a shonen magazine before switching to a seinen one.

Is this ripped off the guy that did self-trepanation, or is he trying to kill himself?

So mostly not serious seines.

Seinen doesn't need to be serious, I don't know what you mean.

Most of it is inaccessible to the average normalfag. If it doesn't have an anime and official translation in fucking Barnes and noble they won't know it exists

Yeah it sucks that Berserk, Vagabond and Monster are barely known.

Comics are not familiar, most comics suck because they do not take advantage of being a visual medium and tend to cram a shitton of exposition and words that do not let the art breath.

Nah these are shonen shit for grown ups.
