Not so sure about that. Romcom manga always go back to the silly side after a payoff happens. Maybe we'll get back on the romance in like 10 chapters or something.

Well, it's about enjoying the journey. If the SoL shenanigans they do along the way are fun to watch, I don't mind being strung along. If you can't stand SoL though, that probably sucks.

Tbf it's spun-off the teasing type of series, so having a kiss at 90+ chapter isn't really that egregious.

There's serious yuri with drama and plot, and there's chill yuri with comedic and episodic chapters. Hino-san is the latter, with most of it focusing on just the two main characters. It's bound to be strung along because that's what most SoL manga is like. I myself enjoy reading fun and lewd shenanigans these two do, and wouldn't mind if it goes on for 100 more chapters.
And not the first time nor the last one they did it.
