To this days I unironically believe that the true Arminfags hate the ending, he accomplished very little post-ts, and was very reactive and passive trough the last arcs, repeating his own arc from Trost again and again, he could never achieve his CHAD status again like his sacrifice in RtS and the extra pages just fucked him over even more.

Armin should have died in RtS, and and his death would further enhance Eren's characterization post-ts and his twisted broken mind and wish to "destroy it all"

Despite all the memeing this gets, I don't think that tying it back to the origin of life was the worst thing ever. There was a man vs nature aspect of survival against the titans in the beginning, and going over the inherited primal nature of humans is a good direction, and it fits Zeke, although the conclusion leaves me cold.

Really glad I read the Dune books. Paul, and Leto in another aspect, are well-written versions of Eren, except not a forced mystery box to check off the 'dark turn of the protagonist' box that shonentards love so much.
