I really liked the movie but also felt bad after finishing it, purely due to how shafted Amy got.
Such a sweet person yet forced to prostitute herself to afford something as simple as pancakes for Taylor, essentially placed under house arrest for the rest of her life and denied the opportunity to see Taylor when she was right there for no good reason.
There's plenty of bittersweet and sad stories in VEG but this one almost seemed mean-spirited.
