Are the Z fighters the worst thing to ever happen to earth?
Think about it, without the Z fighters there probably wouldn't be any evil in Dragonball Z. Raditz would have never even known about earth since Goku wouldn't be there, Frieza and King Cold wouldn't go to earth, the Androids and Cell wouldn't be created either, and with no Z fighters and nobody stronger than 200 power level, Buu has absolutely no way of being brought back.
In the universe where Goku died from the heart attack and Cell killed and stole Trunk's time machine, that earth will probably live in peace forever. No one would really go after the Dragon balls because not many people know about it besides emperor pilaf and besides minor crimes here and there that happen like robberies or murder or whatever, the earth would be pretty much safe. Thoughts??
