i wanted to read this for years and then when i finally got translated I havent gotten around to reading it much at all in the past couple of years

honestly the anime is better.
the art is pretty bad especially in the beginning and it's sometimes hard to tell what going on if you haven't watched the anime.
i only read it because i thought the final ova didn't adapt everything from end but it did.
they both end pretty much the same.
if you have watched all of it you can just continue with reading the sequel that's currently being translated.
i haven't read that so i can't tell you if it's good.

Yeah that's the thing, the manga just isn't all that good compared to the anime, and the adaptation is actually pretty faithful so the stories are the same but are less polished too. At least as far as I read which is only like 20 chapters.

I actually read beginning of the sequel (because the first 6 chapters or so were actually translated like a decade and a half ago), but I wanted to read from the beginning cause I thought there was stuff left out. But if you say I'm not missing out I might as well just skip to the sequel. Which is pretty good from that bit I read

i think there was a thing or two being left out in the adaptation but nothing special really.
