you've pretty much seen all the anime adaptations, the only one you didnt watch is flash (which is very different from the original).
the manga wasnt very good, i will agree, but its later sequels/spin offs are cool (tennyo densetsu namely, but the rest of the translated chapters are missing for some reason, picrel).

I've enjoyed almost everything of Honey I've watched, only Shin stands out as not being all that good. Really liked Universe when it came out a few years ago but Re is definitely my favourite.
The original manga wasn't exactly great, but I had fun with it, still yet to read Anno's take on it despite it being on my shelf for at least 4 years.

Shin Cutey Honey's strenght was the animation. It take place 100 years after the manga and was unfortunately unfinished. The cool thing is that it features characters from other Nagai stories.

i have the raws for the gekiman chapter and while i understand exactly none of it, i can already tell that the creation story is a ride and a half.
some of these "what could have been" scenes are OUT THERE
she's a robot built for combat, it would make more sense for her to have wide shoulders and a rougher build if it wasnt just your imagination.

Have you some links for the Gekiman raws?
I noticed Nagai drawn situations and events easy to understand even if you cannot read japanese. I downloaded the raws for Hanappe Bazooka which still remains untranslated and I understood almost everything happening by just looking at the action.
