Dark Tournament has a good argument for best tournament arc in shonen as well.

YYH was very rushed near the end which he admitted himself because he was sick of working on it and has stupid shit near the end like Yusuke dying and coming back as a demon against Sensui.
HxH he just stopped working on it when he got sick of it, I guess. Can't really blame him though, he has been "working" on HxH since 1998, thats older then some posters on this site. I can't fault a creator just walking away from a project that takes forever to work on, like Miura did with Berserk.

Fujimoto did Fire Punch and Chainsawman. Both were good and successful. I agree though that doing two shounens on the scale of Yuyu Hakusho and HxH is quite some feat, and it is pretty rare.
