I would have appreciate a bit more intimacy between Ninym and Wiener. Whereas I usually don't mind the world-building and general story-related content in shows like this, I do think that Tensai Ouji is too dry. The two barely share any real moment. Does anyone actually remember the names, relations between the characters or even the names of the cast besides the very few really important suspects? Seems to me as if this show doesn't really know what it wants to be. Perhaps it's due to the adaptation.

They've even cut characters out to make things fit forcefully in this very limited space. Like this random retainer guy? He's been in the novel since volume 1. He was a negotiator from Marden who ended up backing off from cutting a deal because he thought Wein was too honorable a ruler to take the out (when Wein was playing hardball to get more concessions). Having this impression of Wein lead to him putting in a good world to "Prince Helmut" in v2 when they were "saved" by the liberation army during the cavarin ambush. Being his nephew was also Zeno's cover story.
