When does this shit get good? I'm 20 episodes in and haven't even chuckled once
When does this shit get good? I'm 20 episodes in and haven't even chuckled once
It doesn't. Better question is why the fuck you are still watching it.
You're 4 or 5 episodes away, beware that it becomes awful once Utsuro appears, though there's a handful of funny episode worth watching after that point.
i think it took like 70 eps for me
just drop it unless you're a neet with infinite time
> watching the anime
you lost at step 1
> beware that it becomes awful once Utsuro appears
shit taste secondaryfag, begone
It's bad, only kids who don't know any better praise Gintama for its battles, and that's all it has to offer from that point forth.
It's only held in such high regard for its comedy, which is genuinely funny regardless of your age or nationality, unlike the vast majority of anime and manga.
Nah user it’s dog shit, there isn’t a reason why Takasugi shouldn’t have been the main villain, Gintoki’s whole grief is that he has to live with killing his mentor…. Except he didn’t lol he’s immortal
> It bad
> Because I said so!
come back with a proper argument
You completely missed the point and themes and symbolism then. He still killed his mentor
> c-cope!!
prove it
When you accept it
Learn how to greentext, capitalize and punctuate newfag, also, I stated exactly why it is bad.
>n-newfag!!!!
Great argument, once again.
> I stated exactly why it is bad.
This is your post.
> It's bad
aka "It bad"
> only kids who don't know any better praise Gintama for its battles
aka "Fights bad"
> and that's all it has to offer from that point forth.
aka "Only fights
So your argument is
"It bad because fights bad"
Again, see the Intellectual Etiquette image if you'd like to continue this joke of a discussion.
Most of Gintama serious arcs are dogshit
Never, drop that shit
>t. Got memed into the forest season of this dogshit
> it bad
> because I said so!
I yawn
> forest
the state of gintama detractors
Based, the ham fisted monologues, Le tragic flashbacks and middling action make all of them shit, melodrama only trannies could enjoy
Not fights or action in general, just most of the ones present in Gintama.
Asspulls galore, no powersystem, wildly fluctuating powerlevels and every single villain getting redeemed as they're losing/dying no matter how monstrous they are with some flimsy half-assed "tragic" backstory.
> Asspulls galore
Thanks for the list of 0 asspulls you provided as evidence.
> no powersystem
you didn't say why this is bad
Also, consider an autism diagnosis if you think literature needs a powersystem to be good
> wildly fluctuating powerlevels
You forgot to provide evidence again.
Also,
> powerlevels
the absolute state
> single villain getting redeemed
Showing how a human and the humans around them cope with death and finality does not equal absolving them of all their sin, no matter how much of a speedwatcher you are.
> ham fisted
in the subpar anime translation designed for low IQ mongs that read slowly, sure
> Le tragic flashbacks
you didn't say why this is bad
> middling action
in the increasingly subpar anime adaptation, perhaps
> melodrama only trannies could enjoy
embarrassing
Gintama's final arcs are a great filter and I say this with no pride, no smugness, and no artificiality. It's clear why you missed out on - no, were unable to experience this great journey to the utmost.
Your so obviously from South America and aged between 13-16 you shameless dickrider
Keep seething nigga, we keep laughing at you
If it's not your cup of tea drop it, the series gets better after the first 36 episodes and then skyrockets to greatness, the first season (201 episodes) are the best the series has to offer.
Never thought I would see someone defending Utsuro, lmao.
