This. Luffy has won ZERO fights in the series. The DF has won plenty, but Luffy has put no effort to earn anything. This goes against the entire ethos of the manga which is that even if you're born with a bad power you can make it work through hard work and clever tactics (see Crocodile and Enel fights, as well as many other examples that I won't mention)
