As good as one could hope, fantastic scenes by Kubo. My only complaint is that it leans a bit too much on wish-fulfillment fantasy, like Mahoutsukai no Yome, but that is probably a flaw of the source material more than the pacing of the OVA. I didn't expect it to be feature-length, that was a nice surprise.

Why does it matter if a 3x3 has 9 things I liked vs. 9 things I arbitrarily decided were my favorites at that moment? I think if more people did that, 3x3 threads might be more interesting than half the posters having the obligatory Ghibli, Oshii, Yuasa and whatever else. Most people with interesting 3x3s restrict what they pick in one way or another.
