It's far worse than Black Lagoon. The writing is wack, the characters are lame, and the worst part of it is the direction is actual dog shit. I can put up with unrealistic scenarios with guns. One of my favorite anime series is City Hunter. What I can't stand is how terrible the staging of the majority of gun fights in this show. The character designs and ost are pretty much the only redeeming aspects of this show.

Interesting you said that 'cuz I wanted to watch Black lagoon because of the waifu and I found the show unwatchable just because of the laughable dialogue, it was so awkward and silly I couldn't take it seriously, it didn't age well...
I haven't rewatched Jomurgand but I guess it would suffer the same fate.

I remembered trying some weeks ago but I don't remember quite well what I didn't like about the dialogue I guess I could give it another try, I think it was the show taking itself to serious and every piece of dialogue showing a rude "badass" way of talking: Yeah we are badass and this is how badass talk, oh you, let's see who can drink the most"
It was just a wacky dialogue that shows "This is old"

the satellite doesn't destroy anything, it just renders GPS coordinates unreadable (because wrong) and fucks up with military and civil logistics worldwide.
also any guided weapon that isn't laser or wire guided doesn't work properly anymore.
