Peteranon is just MTL + edit, which is exactly what WCT does.

The chapter title is not "The Great Calamity" 大災厄 since that is a key name it would be closer to "The Great Disaster" 大災 as to distinguish them from each other.
Also, if we were to post some form of plain-text versions of our MTL base so people can read some version of the chapter quickly would people want that?
I wanted to get people's opinions since the quality will not be the same as Peter's since we work in steps with J-E checking and full proofreading coming later.
No promises on this BTW
We are hoping to get 54 out in the next day or 2 and both 55 and 56 are being worked on at the same time
Our process is a bit more involved it is a
>Base MTL that is also given a pre-edit by the people doing it
>Base editing that does all the formatting and a proofread
>J-E check one of the translators will check the chapter for accuracy
>Full proofread and edit
>Final merge of all the edits and checking

I’d rather read an edited MTL then a direct MTL dump. As long as it’s coherent to read it’s fine. The raw MTL dump in the last thread was nice to have, but was definitely not an enjoyable read.

So it would be readable for sure but no guarantee on the accuracy but it is not like we don't try and check our work as we go.
As for the Forbidden Libary stuff that will be close to what we would be doing but that is mostly a touched-up MTL dump unless there are parts that I or some of the others have finished before are done. So for 56 that was just posted, it includes parts 1 and 3 that I did but is not fully proofread or checked.

Why don't LN and WN authors just identify the character next to each line of dialogue?
These are basically screenplays anyways. Why not just go all the way and avoid any unnecessary confusion?

Peter might have spoiled because godamn that shit made me drop reading the chapter, the moment Ublik dropped his prophecy and I couldn't understand jackshit was when I called it quits, since I couldn't tell what was the MTL vomit to reinterrupt it correctly.
