How did you enjoy Part 6?
Lupín III
I dropped it over a month ago because it was mostly disappointing.
Quite bland, in terms of story and animation. Mamoru Oshii's episodes were the only memorable ones.
Dropped at episode 17
The only truly good episode was the one with Lucifer's fossil.
I liked it overall. Nothing crazy but decent
Very mixed bag. The first half had a few good standalone episodes, but the main plot was disappointing. I loved the second half's main plot, but the standalones were pretty forgettable. The fact that the main plot kept getting interrupted made it pretty frustrating to follow week-to-week.
DID
NOTHING
WRONG
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I want to call this cheap, but it's so in character that it works.
I enjoyed it
What a touching family reunion.
DID
NOTHING
WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG
I honestly wasn't even rooting for Lupin here.
>Episode where it's just exposition in the same room for the first half
>Good
For me, it was the Wantiku episode that was my favorite
I wanted to watch it with a bud of mine because we watched Part 5 as it came out together and had a blast. He doesn't keep up with anime though. I remember being very disappointed with the presentation of this part and not a whole lot of what I've seen since has changed my mind. Very upsetting considering Parts 4 and 5 looked very clean. Even TWCFM, which much like this show wasn't done at Telecom, had a great sense of style and direction to make up for a lack of polish.
Have a tsun Fujiko.
I liked it, but I think it's the worst among the 3 new ones.
Cute
It was ok. The trailers made it seem like we would get a more villainous Lupin which might have been interesting, but it was mostly more of the same. At least it was still decent, and there were a couple really good episodes like the Oshii episodes and both of the Jigen episodes. Part 4 and 5 were a lot stronger and more well put together in general. I feel like Part 6 doesn't have as much of it's own identity. Maybe that's intentional since it's the 50th anniversary.
>goodbye partner was shit
The "last" Jigen movie
>Fujiko Mine's Lie was shit
The third part of dark lupin
>the first was shit
The first 3d movie
>part 6 was shit
Anniversary part
>Prison of the past was okayish
Buffer movie
Ah, i see the pattern now and we finally free for the next 9 years.
I'm a few episodes behind, but I've enjoyed what I've seen so far.
Not really digging the Tomoe plot and would've rather gotten more Sherlock.
I don't know if it's because Monkey Punch died or if I've finally outgrown Lupin but nothing that I've seen since Part V has managed to grab my attention or interest at all. I couldn't even make it halfway through this season because it was so mediocre
